The Talua Theological Training Institute Library provides students and faculty with a rich collection of resources for theological study, ministry preparation and research. With more than 11,000 volumes, the library holds a substantial collection of books and reference materials across biblical studies, theology, church history, Christian ministry, missions and Christian biography.
The library has particular strength in Pacific and Vanuatu collections, providing resources that connect theological study with the history, cultures, churches and contemporary realities of the Pacific. These collections are an important part of Talua’s commitment to equipping men and women for faithful Christian ministry within their own cultural and regional contexts.
Talua students also have access to the Global Digital Theological Library (GDTL), connecting them to one of the world’s largest collections of digital theological resources. Through GDTL, students can access more than 300,000 eBooks, over 15 million academic articles, and more than 11,000 journals, giving them access to theological scholarship and research from around the world.
This combination of a substantial physical collection, specialist Pacific resources and extensive international digital resources provides Talua students with a strong foundation for biblical study, academic research and theological reflection. Students can investigate contemporary scholarship, engage historical works, research the biblical text, and explore theological perspectives from across the global church.
All enrolled students have borrowing rights and are encouraged to make full use of the library and its digital resources throughout their studies.
